Canesten, an antifungal medication brand, wants to turn taboos around women’s intimate health into open dialogue.
In doctors’ offices, women are scared to speak up and are often shut down or discriminated against when they do. What if we stretched the idea further? We met women where they feel the safest, even the chattiest. More than manicures, we opened up the discussion of vaginal discharge. Pop-up nail salons that created a safe space for all women to meet with medical professionals who listened and answered. Women left our nail salons feeling empowered and informed. All it took was a fresh new set to flip the “taboo” into a polished version of the truth.
